Scouting at Salem Lutheran

Imagine spending time with your child doing activities they love! Watch them grow up with great character, good values, and leadership skills. Scouts BSA is here to help with Scouting programs for boys & girls from Kindergarten to 21 years old. Scouts in K-5th grades participate in activities, meetings, and events planned for their age. After 5th grade Scouts work toward achievements at their own pace with senior Scout leadership and guidance.

We are the longest-running Scout program in the area and are blessed to have our own building to conduct all the Scout meetings and activities. We go on unit campouts and have a host of fun year-round. Our Packs, Troops, and Venture Crew strive to instill in our youth the principles and essence of Scouting through the values of the Scout Oath and Law.

Salem Lutheran offers the program to all ages and is broken down into Scouting Units:

• Cub Scout Pack 113 - for Boys Kindergarten through 5th grade

• Cub Scout Pack 20 - for Girls in Kindergarten through 5th grade

• Scout Troop 113 - for Boys that are at least 10 years old, currently in the fifth grade, and register on or after March 1st; OR have earned the Arrow of Light Award and are at least 10 years old, OR are age 11 but have not reached age 18.

• Scout Troop 2 - for Girls that are at least 10 years old, currently in the fifth grade, and register on or after March 1st; OR have earned the Arrow of Light Award and are at least 10 years old, OR are age 11 but have not reached age 18.

• Venture Crew 113 - for Boys & Girls who are age 14 (or 13 and graduated 8th grade) but have not reached age 21
